On July 20, the Australian government announced that it has approved the recommencement of granting student visas to international students outside of Australia.
This means that as soon as Australian borders re-open after the COVID-19 pandemic, existing and new holders of a study visa can easily make travel arrangements. Moreover, while awaiting the re-opening of borders, new study visa holders can choose to enroll in an online study course and count this towards their Australian Study Requirements.
